For the past several years I've had a lot of fun on April Fool's day playing some creative pranks on the family. This was the year for revenge. The boys rigged up the faucet in the kitchen to completely soak me when I turned it on first thing in the morning. Then, when I came out of work, this is what my car looked like. . . as much as I love BYU, I was completely embarrassed to drive home in it- especially living in Aggie country with BYU haters on every corner. Good job Jake and Cam! You got me!
We love conference weekend. It's so nice to just stay at home and watch church on TV and be inspired by all the wonderful talks. After the Sunday afternoon session ended, some teenager who was right by the camera turned around and pulled a face that is so like the one Jake is always making. And the kid even looked like Jake. Me, Mike and the boys had so much fun for the next half hour rewinding it, and having Jake imitate what the kid was doing. It was hilarious. Lindsey went to Las Vegas with Emma and Ann for 3 1/2 days, and we had the fun chance to watch Lydia while they were gone. She's such a doll, and we were all so entertained by her. She was VERY easy to take care of, and we were so happy to help out.
The day we took her back to Ogden, we stopped by the Salomon Center and the kids all spent a fun hour at the flowrider. It's become our spring break tradition. This was Brad's first time, and he did great!
We've been enduring some freezing weather this spring, with spring break being no exception. We are definitely ready for some warm weather. This picture was taken on Wednesday, before it snowed another several inches yesterday and today. . . what can you do but be patient knowing warm weather is not too far away?
