Kylee and Evan come to town

Since I had two days off of work for fall break, I offered to pay for Ky and Evan to come and visit so I could get my Evan fix. It's a problem... I'm addicted and need a fix more often that I get one...;) I picked them up at the airport on Tuesday night, October 13 and took them back Saturday morning the 17th. We had to make the most of every day, so we packed a lot into each day. As you can imagine, this happened every time Evan was in the kitchen and someone opened the fridge. What's the harm in letting him play in there? None as far as I can see...
It was hard to wipe off those little footprints after he left...
It's so awesome to see Kylee being such a sweet and loving mother to Evan. It melts my heart! She's so patient and so in love with him. I just love watching her be a mother.
Jessica is so cute with Evan (as you can imagine). She can always get him to laugh. I can't wait to see her as a mother!
We went out to dinner one night and it was hilarious to watch Evan watching his little sign language show on Kylee's phone. He is rather mesmerized with it! (I should have just picked one picture from the restaurant but I couldn't!)

We went to Ann's one afternoon for him to play in her new playhouse. He had a great time!

One morning we went for a walk in the canyon with Ann, Sara, Breckon and Lindsey. The little boys had fun looking at each other.

After that we had lunch on the patio joined by Jess, Brad, the Hess kids and Jake, then had a glazed doughnut taste test. The winner was Johnny O's-- hands down.

It was so fun to watch Evan playing in the sandbox Mike and Bundy made in our backyard. He loved it!

Until he didn't... haha

We met Jessica and the kids she nannys at Ryan's Place Park in Providence and enjoyed being outside in the perfect fall weather.

Evan loves being outside and is so good with whatever you do with him out there.
Jake had fun playing with him whenever he was around.
This was taken on Rachel and Shawns wedding day. I was happy to attend that wedding and visit with many family members.

Thanks for coming Kylee and Evan. I loved every minute of your visit and I'm counting the days until next time!

September

Not much else to report on for this month. But happily I have a bunch of pictures of my missionary. He's doing great and is working hard in Lake Bluff- just north of Chicago.

Here he is with his companion Elder Seegmiller and Aaron- a 9 year old boy they taught then his less active (but being reactivated) Dad baptized him.
They got to go to downtown Chicago one day for Pday. That always makes him happy.

Missionaries goofing off? Awesome! (does Seegmiller remind anyone of Jake??)
They get to teach an English class every week to these people. Cam loves it!

I LOVE clouds! I'd say I'm rather obsessed with them.

One Saturday morning me, Mike, Jake, Brad and Bundy hiked the windcaves. Jake claims he's never done it before. I loved seeing the beautiful fall colors just starting to turn.
